Good to know

Questions, answered.

What is REVELA?

REVELA is a shared event camera in your browser. Each guest gets a limited roll, takes photos without image previews and joins the reveal later. It complements professional photography rather than replacing it.

How do guests join with a QR code?

The host shares the event link or printed QR card. Guests open it on their phones, enter their names and join while the event accepts new participants. Keep access in the same browser: a name alone cannot recover a guest session.

Do I need an app or an account?

No app installation is required. Guests use a browser without a host account and must allow camera access. Hosts sign in to create and manage events. You need a connection to open the event and join for the first time.

How many photos can each guest take?

The plan and event determine the allowance, enforced by the server. The Test Roll reference is 5 guests with 5 photos each, up to 25 photos. Check the limits and eligibility shown during creation; paid Festa and Casamento purchases remain disabled.

When are photos revealed? Can the host reveal early?

Photos reveal at the time set for the event. An authorized host can also reveal early from the dashboard, with server verification. Revealing ends capture: do not rely on new guests joining or new uploads completing afterwards.

Who can see the gallery?

The guest gallery requires a valid session, a revealed event and an unexpired access period. Only approved, nonhidden photos should appear there. Hosts have separate moderation and export controls. Revealing an event does not make its gallery a publicly indexed page.

Will the gallery stay online forever?

No. Access expires according to the plan and event. Check the date shown in your event and download available files before it expires. Access expiry does not promise immediate deletion of every file or backup.

Can I download photos? What quality should I expect?

After the reveal, authorized users can download available photos while access remains valid. Hosts can request an export when that feature is enabled. Quality depends on the camera, browser and capture processing; we do not promise a fixed resolution or files identical to the native camera output.

Can I take photos without a connection?

After you join and load the experience, photos can wait in a local queue if connectivity drops and browser storage is available. Uploading needs a connection and a valid capture window. Returning after reveal or expiry may prevent finalization. Offline use is not guaranteed on every device.

How can I recover photos that have not uploaded?

Return on the same device, browser and profile, keeping site data intact. Do not clear storage, open a new private session or reinstall your browser to fix an upload. Local originals and queues support recovery, but data deleted by you or your browser may be unrecoverable.

How do privacy and permissions work?

The server verifies guest and host access; screen filters are not authorization. Protect your guest link and access. Moderation can hide a photo but cannot recall files already downloaded. Hosts should explain the experience and ask participants to respect the people they photograph and share images of.

Can I use REVELA in English or outside Brazil?

The interface and public content support Portuguese and English. Access depends on a compatible browser, permissions and connectivity; support for every country or device is not guaranteed. International Stripe checkout is not available yet.

Can I pay with Pix or an international card now?

Not in this version: paid checkout remains disabled. A Mercado Pago Pix integration and a local Stripe test candidate exist, but that does not mean payments are available. International card and wallet checkout should not be treated as supported today.
